Kazo District Staff Urged to Shine as CAO Champions Professionalism

The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of Kazo district, Hajji Badru Mayanja Majwala has called on district staff to execute their duties diligently and meet the expectations of the public they serve.

Mayanja delivered the message during a meeting with district employees held today morning in the council hall at the district headquarters.

Using the analogy of a human body, the CAO reminded staff that just as each body part has a unique role essential to the functioning of the whole, every department and officer in the district has specific responsibilities that contribute to effective service delivery. He urged workers to perform their tasks with the same coordination and commitment.

“You are public servants and your primary role is to provide services to the people,” Mayanja emphasized, adding that many qualified individuals are seeking employment and would readily take up any opportunity to serve.
Meanwhile, the Principal Human Resource Officer and chairperson of the district welfare committee, Muhumuza Ambrose, encouraged staff to uphold integrity and professionalism. He revealed that the district will this year recognize both the best and poorest performers as part of efforts to improve accountability and motivation among employees.
