Kazo District Leaders Commend Progress on Council Hall Construction
Leaders in Kazo district have expressed satisfaction with the ongoing construction of the district council hall following a site inspection held at the district headquarters.
The meeting was chaired by Principal Assistant Secretary, Devine Kyogabirwe on behalf of Chief Administrative Officer Badru Mayanja Majwala. Kyogabirwe praised the progress of the project, noting that she has been closely monitoring the works and is pleased with the quality so far. She commended both the district engineer and the contractor for their commitment.
District Engineer Coleb Ntwirenabo said construction is on track and is expected to be completed before the end of June. He emphasized the importance of factoring in the defect liability period, urging that work be finalized early enough to allow time for inspection and any necessary corrections.
Contractor Charles Mwesigwa assured district leaders that the project will be completed on schedule. He reaffirmed his commitment to delivering quality work within the agreed timeframe.
Meanwhile the LC5 Chairperson of Kazo district, Rev. Samuel Mugisha Katugunda, commended the progress of the project and praised the contractor for consistently delivering quality work, noting that his performance has been commendable even in previous contracts. He emphasized that, as district leaders, their priority is to ensure high-quality standards in all projects.
